On Tuesday 13 August, Birmingham Community Matters (BCM) - funded by Sutton Coldfield Charitable Trust (SCCT) - is holding a friendly learning session to help small voluntary organisations in Sutton Coldfield acquire or boost their bid writing skills.
BCM is a charity which helps people to start, run and grow small community and voluntary groups in Birmingham. The friendly team brings you face to face with people who have lots of experience in the voluntary sector. They help you overcome challenges and share ideas – to make your group even more successful.
At the event, happening at Newman Community Centre in Sutton Coldfield, you will explore:
- Fundraising - writing a project summary
- Writing your funding application proposal
- Identifying the ‘need’ for your project
- Key information to include in your application
- Planning and completing your budget.
