Connect Cafe - February
We’ll be joined by Megan Gimber from PTES to learn why hedges are utterly amazing.
Megan will be covering the heritage of hedgerows and associated countryside skills, as well as their current management and how we can ensure we hand over healthy hedgerows to the next generation. We'll also be looking the role of hedges as important habitats and corridors for wildlife, including some of the species that call our hedges home.
Plus there'll be the usual mix of chat, topical quizzes, and sharing of knowledge, know-how, and experience.
Connect Cafe is a free, friendly online space where you can:
- grow your knowledge of Devon’s wildlife and habitats
- get practical information on what you can do to help biodiversity
- discover more about monitoring and surveying
- connect with people, communities & organisations caring for local landscapes.
Join us each month for talks, chat, and to share ideas.
