BDLA 2024 Annual Conference

The BDLA 2024 Annual Conference is scheduled for Thursday, 7th November 2024, at RSA House in Central London. 

Please be aware that tickets are limited, with priority given to BDLA members and associate members. All attendees must register via online booking. If spaces remain available, we will invite other professionals with an interest in BDLA's activities.

Declan Curry, Keynote Guest Speaker

Biography: Declan Curry is a journalist and broadcaster, and has been reporting on business, the economy and politics for almost 30 years. He appears frequently as a business commentator on LBC News, and occasionally on Classic FM and Capital Radio. He was a presenter, producer and reporter for a range of programmes on BBC radio and television in the UK and globally. For almost a decade, he was the business presenter for the BBC’s breakfast TV programme on its flagship network, BBC 1. Declan has been published in newspapers and magazines in the UK, Europe and the United States. He has won several awards for his broadcasting and has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate from The University of Middlesex. He was born and raised in Northern Ireland and came to London to study for his first Degree, in Chemistry, at Imperial College.

Dan Hill, Guest Speaker, Savills

Biography: Dan is an Associate in the Residential Research team in Savills, having joined the team in 2021. He combines analysis of market, economic and demographic data with the wider market intelligence available within Savills to provide data-driven answers to client questions. Through this, he works closely with the development, capital markets and affordable housing teams at Savills, as well as working directly with external clients, including developers, investors, banks, Housing Associations and public bodies. He also contributes to the Savills forecasts for the residential market.

Note that BDLA members are entitled to 2 complimentary tickets, while non-members can acquire tickets at a rate of £200 each.
