Beacon's Forget Me Not Service 2025
Celebrating 150 Years of Supporting Our Community
We’re delighted to invite you to Beacon’s Annual Forget Me Not Service, a tradition close to our hearts that brings together friends, families, and our community to remember and celebrate loved ones who are no longer with us.
This special evening offers a chance to pause, reflect, and remember during the festive season, a gentle moment of togetherness, reflection, and hope.
This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate Beacon’s 150th anniversary, marking a proud milestone in our history of supporting people living with sight loss and caring for our community.
We’re thrilled to welcome beautiful performances from Penn Singers Choir, along with words of comfort and reflection from Lisa Sadler-Todd, Beacon’s Chief Executive, and Jan Burns MBE, Chief Executive of the National Dignity Council.
Our beneficiaries will be creating handmade decorations that will feature on our official Forget Me Not Tree. The names of loved ones will appear on the ribbons of these decorations, which will be displayed on the Christmas tree during the official lighting ceremony.
