Listen and sing along to the soulful sounds of the world-renowned Al-Firdaus Ensemble, rooted in Classical Celtic, Middle Eastern, Andalusian Melodies & beyond, anchored by the Art of Tajweed and years of mastering traditional instrumentation - all whilst finding yourself encompassed by nature and birdsong.

Al Firdaus Ensemble, based in Granada, was originally founded in 2012 by the English violinist and singer Ali Keeler and includes musicians from England, Spain and Morocco. The group takes its inspiration from the word Firdaus, the most elevated abode in the gardens of Paradise.

Beacon Valley is a unique, family-run venue set at the heart of Birmingham's Lickey Hills, exploring wellbeing and culture immersed in nature, featuring a water spring, river source and 20th Century well.

What is accessibility like?

Due to the hillside location of the venue, it is currently mostly suitable for those able to physically walk up or down hill.

Do you have toilets?

Yes, there is a toilet facility available on site, located next to the Car Park. 

What should I wear?

As we will be outdoors in a unique forest setting, please wear shoes and clothing suitable for hiking and spending time outdoors. 

What else should I bring?

Feel free to bring your own water bottle & reusable flask.
