The tour has multiple dates and most tours end with VIP seats at a 2-hour special event, drag karaoke or drag music bingo. And don't worry if a real airplane is not available for the tour, as the one-mile trip will be on foot. But that won't stop you from experiencing the high-flying adventure that "Beer Flight" has planned for you. The after-party event is not available on all tours, so be sure to ask about it when booking your ticket. Upon arrival at one of Asheville's premier craft breweries, guests will be greeted by a world-class drag queen who will serve as their stewardess for the night. As guests wait for the "flight" to board, they will have the opportunity to mingle with their fellow passengers. The tour will then take off, with the drag queen leading the way through the vibrant streets of Asheville. Although a real airplane may not be available, all seats are first-class and drinks are included. Guests will be treated like royalty, with no cover and no waiting at the breweries along the route, and a guided tasting of each flight.

WHAT IS INCLUDED? - “Beer Flight” is the ultimate combination of great beer, hilarious drag queens, and non-stop fun! This two-hour tour includes 2-3 flights of delicious craft beers, seltzers, wines, and sours (a $45 value). You'll also receive a souvenir sticker, a mid-flight snack, and VIP seats at an after-party event (where available). With no cover charges or waiting times at any of the venues, you'll have plenty of time to snap photos with your fabulous drag queen guide and soak up the amazing atmosphere of Asheville's vibrant brewery scene. With a total value of over $75, this priceless experience is not to be missed! Please note that the after-party event is not available on all tours, so be sure to inquire when booking your tickets.

WHAT IF I DON’T LIKE BEER? - If you're not a fan of beer, don't worry! While breweries are the primary focus of the tour, several venues on the route also offer a variety of other options such as sours, wines, seltzers, and ciders. Although you may encounter a beer or two, you can always drink around them.
DO YOU HAVE A DISCOUNT FOR LOCALS? - Certainly, we offer a special discount for locals with an Asheville address. We encourage you to bring your out-of-town visitors along and show them a good time. You can find the discount on the ticketing page, and please remember to bring a valid government-issued ID with your Asheville address. Thank you for your support!
DO WE NEED A RESERVATION? - Yes. For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, we require all attendees to be at least 21 years old and show a valid government-issued ID at all locations. Please also note that bags and backpacks may be subject to search at the discretion of the venues.
HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE TO BOOK FOR THE TOUR TO RUN? - The minimum number of people required for the tour to run is 10. However, if you have a smaller group of 2 people, you can still make a reservation, and the tour organizers will try their best to fill up the remaining spots. If the tour is unable to fill up, they will work with you to secure another tour at a different time.
CAN I RESERVE THE ENTIRE TOUR JUST FOR US FEW? - Yes! You will be charged the price as if you were booking all 15 seats.
WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM CAPACITY? - The regular tours are limited to 15 people to ensure a more intimate and personalized experience. However, if you have a private group of 15 or more, we can arrange a special tour just for your group. CAN MY GROUP MEMBERS PAY INDIVIDUALLY? - Yes, individual payments are allowed, but it's recommended that one person makes the booking for the entire group. However, if group members decide to book individually, they should make sure to book for the same tour at the same time to ensure that no one gets left out.
SHOULD I TIP? - As a general rule, it is customary to tip service staff on tours and experiences, including this one. The staff on this tour relies on gratuities as part of their income, so it is recommended to tip between $10-$20 per person, based on your level of satisfaction with the service. Like Dolly Parton once said, “It takes a lot of money to look this cheap!”
HOW LONG IS IT? - The event lasts for 2 hours, during which you will walk in 5-minute intervals between locations. The total walking distance is 1 mile, including uphill and downhill sections and steps. Unfortunately, the tour is not wheelchair accessible due to limited sidewalk availability.
WHAT IS INCLUDED? - The drag queen tour guide, drinks at each location, a snack, a souvenir sticker, and loads of fun.
WHERE DO I CHECK IN? - This depends on which flight you book. Check-in information will be included in your ticket receipt or provided a few days prior to your flight.
HOW EARLY CAN WE ARRIVE? - As early as you'd like, feel free to support our venues and enjoy a beer before we start!
WHAT IF I'M LATE? WILL YOU LEAVE WITHOUT ME? - Yes. You can try to catch up but we do not offer refunds.
DO YOU HAVE PARKING? - Parking is nearby at each location, we recommend the centrally located Coxe Avenue Garage, 52 Coxe Ave, Asheville, NC 28801
WHERE DOES THE TOUR END? - Where it begins, this is a round trip flight.
WHAT IF I GET TOO DRUNK? - It's important to drink responsibly and know your limits. If you feel like you're getting too drunk, let your tour guide or bartender know so they can help you pace yourself and stay hydrated. If your behavior becomes disruptive or disrespectful, the queens and/or bartenders have the authority to not serve and remove you or your group from the tour. Refunds will not be given if you or your party are not permitted to ride or are removed at any point due to disruptive or disrespectful behavior. (Yes, this includes the beautiful bride; the groom; or Maid of Honor!).
WHAT ABOUT THE WEATHER? - Other than their mascara, drag queens are not waterproof. However, in case of inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control, we will do our best to reschedule your tour for another date and time that works for you. If we are unable to reschedule, we will issue a full refund.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL? - According to our cancellation policy, you will receive a full refund if you cancel 14 days prior to your scheduled tour. However, refunds will not be given if you cancel less than 2 weeks before your tour. All last-minute cancellations and no-shows will be charged in full. Exceptions will not be made to this rule under any circumstance. Additionally, you will receive a 100% refund if the tour is canceled for any reason.
CODE OF CONDUCT - All guests must abide by our Code of Conduct. If anyone violates any of these actions, you will be removed immediately and the tour may be canceled at our discretion and no refund will be honored. The following actions are not allowed and include but are not limited to the following:
- Physical or verbal harassment or assault towards other guests or staff members.
- Discrimination or hate speech based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other characteristic.
- Intoxication to the point of being disruptive or unsafe.
- Damaging property or stealing.
- Bringing weapons or illegal substances on the tour.
- Disregard for safety rules or instructions given by staff members.
