It’s time to daub, dance, and donate with a hilarious drag queen at Blue Ridge Bingo — Asheville’s most whimsical way to give back! The first ball drops at 7:00 p.m. the first Friday of the month at the Hilltop Events Center. Tickets start at $20, include bingo cards, and are available at BeardedLadyProductions.org. This event is for ages 21 and up.

This month, the drag queen host guides guests over the rainbow for a night of heart, courage, and fabulous fun! Expect six rounds of spellbinding bingo, prizes, and upbeat tunes for clicking your ruby heels with joy. Adding even more sparkle to the night, the incomparable Divine, the Bearded Lady, will serve as the hostess — dazzling the crowd with brains, courageous puns, and a whole lot of heart. Attendees are encouraged to dress to impress in rainbow attire — whether that’s serving Glinda glam, Tin Man realness, Oz greens, or a full-on multicolored extravaganza. There’s no place like Bingo!

After event expenses are paid all profits are donated to a local charity. Proceeds from this month’s Bingo go to Asheville FM. Asheville FM is nonprofit, volunteer-driven, community radio station offering programming as diverse as the community they serve. This includes programs like ‘Sweet Tea’ and ‘The New Wave’, which cover news, entertainment, events, and topics of interest to the queer community of all ages.
