2026 Junior Autumn Coaching Sessions

These weekly sessions, held on Tuesdays, are intended to help Juniors develop their golf skills from their first swing of a club through to gaining their handicap.

The price for six sessions is:

Non Members - £60.00

Members - £50.00 (requires promotional code)

Each session will involve a period of skills coaching followed by supervised on course activities which will include par three golf or three, six or nine holes on the golf course dependant on age and ability.  Those playing nine holes will submit cards which will count towards gaining a handicap.

Sessions will be tailored according to age and ability as follows :

15:30 - Beginners (P2/P3)
40 mins of coaching followed by four hole par three Texas Scramble.

16:15 - Improvers (P4/P5)
40 mins of coaching followed by four hole par three Texas Scramble.

17:00 - Handicappers (S1+)
40 mins of coaching followed by nine hole handicap medal to play for/improve handicap. NB all attendees may participate but only members can obtain a handicap.

17:45 - Developers (P6/P7)
40 mins of coaching followed by a few holes on the course as daylight allows.  Emphasis will be on course etiquette and pace of play preparing Juniors for playing the course by themselves.  The ultimate aim is for them to gain a handicap which will allow them to join in Junior medals and competitions.

The final Tuesday (22nd September) will feature all groups combining in a fun par three Texas Scramble team competition followed by a Prizegiving.
