The Summer League
The Summer League is not your traditional golf league. It is a culturally driven golf experience that blends sport, fashion, competition, and community into one of the most unique activations of the summer. Inspired by iconic summer leagues in other sports — like basketball’s Rucker, Dyckman, Drew, and Queen City Classic — The Summer League brings that same energy, personality, and competitive spirit to the golf course.
Here, the vibes are the nucleus. Players show up with their style, their personality, and their game. Each week golfers compete in 1-on-1 match play battles, where individual performance matters most , your partner or foursome can’t save you. It’s about stepping up, competing, and earning your place week after week as players fight to be crowned the city’s best.
The league runs across six championship weeks throughout the summer, hosted at Sheridan Park Golf Course , culminating in the crowning of the City Champion at the 10th Annual Beau Fleuve For(e) The Classic Golf Tournament on Saturday, August 22nd . Throughout the season, different Cup Championships will be contested, creating momentum and rivalries that build toward the final championship moment.
But The Summer League is more than competition — it is a social and lifestyle experience. Each event begins with a tailgate-style gathering, featuring music, food vendors, beverage carts, clubhouse hospitality, and golf clinics before tee time.
