THE LEGACY POLO MATCH returns on Saturday, June 20th, 2026, onto the prestigious Legacy Equestrian Center in East Amherst, New York for an unforgettable experience presented by The River Club of Beau Fleuve and Legacy Equestrian Center. This premier  event blends the timeless tradition of polo with vibrant fusion of style, sport, culture, and entertainment, offering guests a fully curated and elevated experience in a beautiful setting all in support of a meaningful cause.

Set against the lush green landscapes of the Legacy Estate, the event provides various viewing options, inviting guest to indulge in a selection of gourmet cuisine and catered offerings by some of the regions very best chefs to artisanal pairings , champagne and wine. Whether enjoying the match from the grassy sidelines or experiencing the luxury of reserved seating, every detail is designed to enhance your afternoon of leisure, sophistication, and celebration.

The Legacy Polo Match proudly benefits Beau Fleuve Music & Arts Foundation's (BFM Arts, Inc) youth Creative Arts Programs, Student Ambassador Program, and Emerging Artist Initiative.

WHAT'S NEW THIS YEAER: THE LEGACY WEEKEND & REPRESENTATION MATTERS

This year, The Legacy Polo Match expands into a fully curated four-day LEGACY WEEKEND experience, anchored by the match on Saturday, June 20th and surrounded by a series of thoughtfully designed events from Thursday through Sunday. Each experience will be released individually, with ticketing available for guests to engage throughout the weekend. And in true River Club fashion, the celebration continues with The Afties, following the match.

At the same time, we are proud to deepen our commitment to representation within the sport of polo. This year's match will intentionally feature a diverse group of players and clubs, including African-American polo players from the Work To Ride program (Philadelphia, PA),  representatives from Morehouse College, women players from Northpointe Polo Farm (Kittanning, PA) and pro-am players from  Saratoga Polo School (Saratoga, NY).

Exclusively Curated space reserved for members of The River Club of Beau Fleuve. Designed for elevated comfort  and connection, this private area features a curated private chef experience, dedicated bar service, and reserved seating- offering our members a refined and intimate way to enjoy the mat.

WHAT TO WEAR

• For Ladies: Flowy sundresses, linen or tailored jumpsuits, and chic wide-brim hats are perfect for an effortless yet refined look. Light, breathable fabrics like linen, silk, and cotton will keep you cool while adding a touch of luxury.

• For Gentlemen: Linen suits, lightweight blazers, and tailored trousers with crisp button-down shirts are ideal. A stylish pocket square or bow tie can add a refined touch to your ensemble.

• Footwear: Since the event takes place on lush green grounds, we recommend platforms, wedges, or stylish flats for ladies and loafers or dress shoes for gentlemen—comfortable enough for walking and divot stomping.
