To request Awarding Body Post Result Services for exams taken with the Bedford College Group in Summer 2024 PLEASE NOTE SHORT DEADLINES
The Post results services that can be booked here are restricted to Externally Assessed Exams. If you wish to appeal internally assessed components (coursework/assignments) you should speak to your tutor/Head of Department in the first instance and if you still wish to appeal you must follow the College Appeal Procedure available on the website.
Payment will be required for the majority of Post Results Services. However, If your OVERALL qualification grade is changed as a result of a review of marking the fee will be refunded.
To enable you to make an informed decision before requesting a Post Result Service you MUST speak to your Subject Tutor first. If you still wish to proceed you can order and pay for a Review of Marking here. Please note the deadlines. Payments after the deadlines cannot be accepted.
Post Results Services for Summer 2024 Exams
GETTING ADVICE
- If you are concerned about your External exam results. Please speak to your Teacher/Head of Department first. They will have access to the marks for each of your exam papers and the grade boundaries. If they think it is appropriate, and they have your written permission, they may be able to organise access to your examination script if this facility is available. They will use the script to support you with your ongoing learning and/or determine whether pursuing a Review of Marking is a recommended option. If, after speaking with a member of staff you wish to proceed you may request and pay for post result services here.
- If your qualification is not listed please contact your local exams team who will investigate the procedure.
- External/Private Candidates who do not have a tutor may talk to their local Exams Team to get advice regards marks and grade boundaries. External Candidates may request a copy of their exam script to assist in decision making.. You are able to request Access to Scripts and a Review of Marking here.

CONSENT
In order to proceed with a post-result service the college requires your permission.
- By requesting a Post Result service you are giving your consent for the Head of the Examination Centre to make an enquiry about the result of the examination paper(s) and/or obtain a copy of your exam script.
- By requesting Access to scripts you are also giving consent for the papers to have a Review of Marking if judged appropriate by the College.
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR). Data will not be shared with any third parties outside the Bedford College Group and will be handled in accordance with the above-named legislation. No liability is implied or inferred.
By paying for and consenting to a Review of Marking you confirm you understand that the final subject grade awarded following the enquiry may be lower, higher or the same as, the grade that was originally awarded for this subject.
DEADLINES
UCAS Applicants: - NOTE VERY SHORT DEADLINES
- Discuss results with your teacher/Head of Department/Exams Office immediately:
- before Monday 19th August 3pm (A Levels/T Levels/other Level 3)
- before Monday 26th August 3pm (GCSE)
- Deadline for Priority Review of Marking Requests:
- Tuesday 20th August 3pm (A Levels/T levels/Other Level 3)
- Tuesday 27th August 3pm (GCSE)
Other Candidates (Not UCAS Applicants)
Deadline for all services = Wednesday 18th September 2024 3pm
- Discuss Results with your teacher/Head of Department/Exams Office before Wednesday 18th September 2024 to help you make a fully informed decision about whether to proceed with a Review of Marking. We strongly recommend this step is completed by 6th September 2024.
- External Candidates Only – Discuss results with your local Exams Office to ensure you are fully informed. The deadline for Access to Scripts if investigating potential for Review of Marking – before Wednesday 18th September 2024. We strongly recommend this process is completed by 6th September 2024 to give you time to review and consider options.
- Deadline for Review of Marking Requests – Wednesday 18th September 2024 3pm
