TAL Public Swimming only 4 lanes - Wednesday 2nd December - 6:00-7:00am

Due to Trinity Arts and Leisure sharing the facilities with the Bedford sixth form and being a dual use facility, we have been asked to request that all of our customers and groups wear a face covering when in the car park, once you entered the centre you can remove them.

If you are exempt from wearing a face covering please ensure you have your lanyard with you when on site.

From 1st September 2020 we will be having Modernians swimming club hiring a number of lanes during the 6:00-7:00am public session. This is one way we are helping our local community as a number of swimming pools in Bedford and shut currently. They will be using the following amount of lanes on the following days during the week:

• Mondays - 3 lanes (this will mean we will have 3 public lanes, one fast, one medium and one slow)
• Tuesdays - 2 lanes (this will mean we will have 4 public lanes, one fast, two medium and one slow)
• Wednesdays - 2 lanes (this will mean we will have 4 public lanes, one fast, two medium and one slow)
• Thursdays - 0 lanes (this will mean all 6 lanes will be for public use and we will have two fast, two medium and two slow)
• Fridays - 3 lanes (this will mean we will have 3 public lanes, one fast, one medium and one slow)

Due to this we will be not be allowing any private hire lanes during the other morning public sessions which will run between 7:15-8:15am and 8:30-9:30am each morning.

No refunds will be given once ordered. Please only arrive for your allocated time slot, if you arrive early you may be asked to wait outside.

Your details will be retained for safe use of the Track and Trace system for up to 21 days. After this time they will be deleted.

For our swimming pool we will be following Swim England guidance.

Lane swimming is still available and all customers should shower at home and arrive at the pool ‘beach ready’ (swimming costume on underneath your clothes). Our changing rooms will be closed upon arrival during September and will be reviewed each month. Limited changing facilities will be available for after your swim.

Please be aware that these sessions are all lane swimming and not suitable for fun swimming for children, if you are looking for this type of session please book onto one of our family swims. Trinity Arts and Leisure can refuse entry if children tickets are booked if they are unable to swim full lengths.

To minimize contact, our swimming pool changing facilities will operate a one-way system. Lockers will be unavailable to allow social distancing.

Single lanes will be in place to allow more space between swimmers with fast, medium and slow lanes with a maximum of 8 swimmers per lane. NO OVERTAKING is currently allowed during our public sessions.
