Exam payments for 

• Private GCE/GCSE candidates for the Bedford Sixth Form– 2023/2024

For Summer 2024 Series

Please Pay between 1st December 2023 and 1st February 2024

External Fee - An External Candidate fee of £100 is charged  once per candidate per exam series to cover administration costs if the candidate is not studying the qualification at the Bedford College Group in the current Academic year.

Confirmation of Exam Entry and venue will be emailed to Private Candidates by end March 2024

Advice
When booking an Exam, you are entitled to cancel a Contract within the period of 14 days after the day on which the Contract is entered into (Cooling-Off Period) without giving any reason, however  in accordance with applicable consumer laws, we will retain a reasonable portion of the Entry Fee to reflect the work undertaken by us up to the point of cancellation.

If you are due to take the Exam before the expiry of the Cooling-Off Period, then you expressly request that we begin the supply of services (i.e. the provision of the Exam) before the end of the Cooling-Off Period,  you will lose the right to cancel from the day of the Exam onwards.

Any requests to cancel the contract must be submitted to examsbedford@bedford.ac.uk (Bedfordshire learners) or examskettering@bedford.ac.uk (Northamptonshire learners) and creditcontrol@bedford.ac.uk no later than 5 days after the planned exam date or on the last day of the cooling off period (whichever is the sooner). We will retain a sum of £35 from the Entry Fee to reflect the work undertaken by us up to the point of cancellation. Nothing in this section affects your legal rights.

 If you cancel your Entry after the Cooling Off Period, we will not offer any refund of the Entry Fee or any External Administration fee for the cancelled Exam.
