The Bedfordshire Youth Opera presents Orpheus in the Underworld

Orpheus In The Underworld is a satirical take on the traditional Orpheus and Eurydice myth. We follow Eurydice as she falls in love with the God of the Underworld and leaves her husband Orpheus, and then Orpheus’ journey to claim Eurydice back. Offenbach’s version of the story is full of humour, fun and lots of recognisable tunes, the most famous being the Infernal Galop or Can-Can.
