Beeston Tales is a monthly storytelling night meeting just outside Nottingham. During lockdown, we ran our events online, sharing stories at the digital hearthside. It was great to welcome guests from around the world and though we've re-opened physically we're delighted to be able to offer a live-stream of our events. This will be our first such stream, and prices reflect the experimental nature of the event. Curl up on your sofa and come and join us!

The sublime Sarah Liisa Wilkinson was our top pick as a teller for the newly re-opened club. The September she invites you to meet some very strange girls and some very beguiling monsters from the fairytale forest. This is a world of Baba Yagas and bloodstained dolls, wide-eyed girls and spoon wielding sisters, lovestruck trolls, and lovers who hide monstrous secrets behind their charms.

Dark, funny and enchanted – these are the stories with the iron teeth.

Also featuring tales from your hosts, music, fun and frolics. (You'll have to make you're own drinks though.)

Two kinds of tickets are available: A "General Admission - first time experiment" which will set you back £5 per device, and a "Discount Ticket"... which is free. We know times are harder for some people than others right now, and we'd much rather have you with us than not.

So do come and join us. When you purchase the ticket, you'll be sent the online link. We'll fire out an email on the night of the performance as well, just to make sure you don't miss it.
