Billericay Town Rotary Club Crafting Group

The Billericay Town Rotary Club Crafting Group meet in the Human Kind Café. The group make products that are sold to raise money Charity. As a result we have learnt a range of popular craft skills and techniques. Many visitors to the café have stopped to talk to us and express an interest in what we are doing. As a result, we have decided to run a monthly session on the first Friday of each month from 10am to 12pm. Our aim is to introduce those interested in crafting to a range of different crafts. As the months progress we will revisit the craft areas introducing more techniques. There is no need to attend each month, you can choose the craft areas that interest you.

The next three months will cover the following craft areas:

September - making a 3D box card. Provides the opportunity to do some simple construction work and to create a very different style of greeting card.

October - an introduction to quilling. Learn basic quilling techniques to make a card or piece of home decor.

November - Christmas Crafting 1 - make a snowflake decoration using quilling.

December - Christmas Crafting 2 - the product made will be decided by the group in November.
