It’s back-to-school season, subhanAllah! Whether you’re starting a new school or returning to the same one, making friends can be a challenge! So this month, Girl Talk is excited to share strategies on how we can befriend sisters who are good for our dunya and akhira!

We’ll address important questions like:

💫 How and where can we make friends with sisters who will remind us of Allah (SWT)?

💫 How do we nurture the relationships that we have made for the sake of Allah (SWT)?

💫 As we get closer to Allah (SWT), how can we elevate our friends too, through our speech and actions?

Speakers Bio:

Sr Yusra Rab has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto and has also graduated from the Al Huda Institute Taleem ul Quran program. She has been teaching the Qur'an and Tafseer to our young girls for several years. She has dedicated much of her time to learning more about the Qur'an and its linguistic meaning, and to studying and teaching the book of Allah [swt].

Additionally, she has experience in mentoring youth who are struggling to learn about deen, leading them closer to Allah (SWT) by the will of Allah.
