📜 Join us for an enriching afternoon where we uncover the life of Sayyida Hafsa bint Umar رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا, an inspiring Muslimah who left a lasting legacy for us to learn and reflect.

📖 The Legacy Tours explore the lives of Muslim women throughout the ages who rose to great heights, overcame incredible odds, and left a lasting legacy for those to come after.

📖 Sayyida Hafsa bint Umar رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا , a wife of Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ a devoted scholar and a guardian of the Quran.

🧕🏼 Shaykha Duaa Ahmad holds a Bachelors in computer Science and a Bachelors in degree in Islamic Studies, Diploma in Teaching Education. Sh. Duaa has studied under traditional scholars in Lebanon and has an Ijaza in Tajweed. Sh. Duaa is co-founder and senior instructor at i3 Institute and has been teaching Halaqas, Tafseer, Tazkiyyah and Fiqh for the last 16 years. She is also a lead for Muslim Women Justice League.

🕌 The Islamic Society of York Region is a Muslim Community Center in York Region, Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. ISYR is committed to faith, education, family and community services. For the last 27 years, the 33 acre facility has provided a welcoming space for worship, learning, youth development, book launches, seminars and events.
