Being Salt Workshop

Meet God in your movement and connect the dots between your dance and your faith! Join us in July for an in-depth movement embodiment workshop and learn how to have a conversation with God in your dance, receive His heart for your body, and partner with Him in your dance gift.

What it is:

This 3-hour workshop is an improvisation-based class that uses scripture and guided movement prompts to help facilitate connection to God in your dance. It is not a dance technique class - we will not be learning "dance steps". Our time will be spent researching with the Holy Spirit what it looks like to communicate with God through movement - expressing and receiving. This workshop includes a short teaching on what it means to embrace the "salt" of your dance, several movement exercises to practice communing with the Lord, and ministry time throughout the workshop.

Who it's for:

This workshop is for trained and non-trained dancers! You do not need to have a background in dance, simply a love for movement and a willingness to adventure with God by moving your body. Experienced dancers will have the opportunity to come and "sit" at the feet of Jesus with their gifting and have space to process emotions with Jesus in the language they know so well. Non-trained dancers will be able to explore freely in the modality that excites them and learn new ways of connecting to God through movement. Everyone will be encouraged to give God their best and given space to receive Him no matter what season of life or technique level you are in!
