Silent Rope Jam

This will be an intimate take on our usual Rope Jams. Soft background music will play, but there will be no talking! White boards and post-it notes will be supplied for communicating non-verbally. Join us for a night to tie, to connect, to play.
Our monthly rope jams are intimate event dedicated to the art of Kinbaku. We invite you to step into a dimly lit space where a new kind of dialogue is spoken-one of rope and touch. This is a chance to deepen existing connections or forge new ones through a shared, binding passion.

About Rope Jams
For who?
Rope Jams are for everyone, they are a great place to meet potential tying partners, for the first time or for a planned tying session. For Silent Rope Jams talking is not allowed so it may make socialising with new people more difficult, but for some they might find it easier. Regardless no matter your skill level this jam is for you.
Please note: Induction is NOT mandatory for this event.

Do I need a partner?
No, but it would be beneficial. Singles are welcome to come and meet new people to tie, but this may not happen.

The best place to meet a potential rope partner is during class and at our other jams and social events. We also have a dedicated Buddy Channel in our Telegram group (you can request to be added in person).

What do I need to bring and wear?
For jams we ask you to dress up more than our classes. This could mean dresses, collared shirts, lingerie, anything that makes you feel comfortable but also allows for a more polished atmosphere than our normal classes and socials.

Where, when and how much?
BKD events are held in a central, easily accessible venue in Belfast. It is walking distance from the train station and there is free parking. Directions will be detailed in an email after booking. Doors open 15 minutes before the start time. This Jam is £15, but we also offer a few discounted tickets every class for those who need it. If you'd like to help support our space you can also pay 'a little extra'.
