1st Edition "Pathway to 2036: Advancing a Secure Nuclear Energy Future"

The Belgian Nuclear Society (BNS) and the Netherlands Nuclear Society (NNS) are proud to co-organise this inaugural joint nuclear conference, bringing together nuclear professionals, policymakers, academics and industry leaders from Belgium and the Netherlands.

In the context of Europe's ambitious climate targets and renewed political momentum for nuclear energy in Europe and more particularly in Belgium and The Netherlands that recently reaffirmed their ambition of strengthening cooperation and building an ambitious program for redeployment nuclear energy and associated applications and creating a joint eco-system and supply chain. This joint nuclear conference is anticipated to be held annually and hosted alternatively between the two countries.

It provides a unique platform to align strategies, share expertise and accelerate the transition towards a secure and sustainable nuclear energy future by 2036.

The conference will feature high-level keynote speeches, technical presentations, panel discussions, TEDx-style talks by emerging talents, creating a dynamic platform for strategic dialogue, knowledge exchange and networking across the Belgian & Dutch nuclear communities.
