With Summer on the horizon, what better way to remember good times than with a unique postcard? In this watercolour workshop we will be looking at different ways to approach the medium and the beautiful Bell House gardens for inspiration. A class for all levels of experience.
Postcards are a great way to remember good times spent over the Summer – so why not consider making some original postcards of your own? In this class you will be given a small pack of postcards, made from high quality watercolour paper. You will be shown some approaches to working with watercolour and will be encouraged to look at the work of great watercolour masters and to the Bell House gardens for inspiration.
The postcard is a delightful format, providing opportunities to play and experiment on a small scale. In recent years art on a postcard has become a popular way to raise money for good causes as well as an affordable way for people to buy miniature art works.
This class will suit all levels of experience.
All materials and refreshments will be provided, but please do feel free to bring along any materials or inspirational images of your own. 
About the Artists/Workshop Leader: The session will be run by Sarah Wetherall, a local artist who has many years of experience running art workshops, activities and events for a range of diverse groups of all ages. She worked at Dulwich Picture Gallery for over 10 years – during her time there she developed a particular interest in the link between creativity, health and well-being. This lies at the heart of all her classes.

We offer a limited number of income-based concession tickets at half price, which can be booked directly - if you would not be able to attend at the full price due to financial considerations, then this concession option is available. |
