Quoin a phrase: an introductory guide to letterpress craft

Come and join us for the Bell House Print Room & Bindery’s ‘Quoin a phrase’ workshop!

This workshop is a perfect starter for anyone who would like to explore the craft of letterpress printing and gain some insight into a traditional printing process. All materials are provided, just bring yourself and the short phrase that you’d like to print and take home!

Minimum age 16 years old. Please note, the Print Room & Bindery is in the basement. Access is only by steep stairs, so it is not accessible for wheelchair users.

Before attending this workshop, please to choose a short phrase, no longer than a haiku, for example: ‘See you later, alligator’

Reduced ticket prices

We’d like as many people as possible to be able to access and enjoy Bell House. We offer a limited number of income-based concession tickets at half price, which can be booked directly - if you would not be able to attend at the full price due to financial considerations, then this concession option is available.
