Come and join local printmaker Sarah in this lino print evening taster at the Bell House Print Room and Bindery. Within the session, you will learn the step-by-step method of linoprinting, a printmaking process used by artists such as Picasso and Matisse. Throughout the evening, you will gain a new skillset in much loved craft form, by learning how to carve a lino plate, ink up using a brayer and print using analogue printers. All participants will leave the workshop having transferred bespoke imagery into linocut prints to hang in your home or gift to loved ones. All levels are welcome. Short Bio: Sarah is a facilitator from South London, who specialises in teaching lino printing and embroidery. She runs collage clubs in Crystal Palace and Bromley. You can find her craft content on Instagram @snipnstickselondon ALL MATERIALS INCLUDED NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED Please bring an extra layer as the basement can get chilly If you have any questions, please feel free to contact snipnstickselondon@gmail.com in advance.
