Introductory Collograph workshop (greetings cards)

Come and join local facilitator Sarah in this collograph taster at the Bell House Print Room and Bindery. Within the session, you will learn the step-by-step method of collograph printing, a process where you create your own printing plate by attaching various textures and cut-out shapes. Throughout the session, you will gain a new skillset in a lesser known craft form, by learning how to design your own cardboard printing plate, ink up using a brayer and print using analogue printers. All participants will leave the workshop having transferred bespoke imagery into prints to hang in your home or send as greetings cards.

In October we will be focusing on autumnal designs, and in November and December we will be focusing on Christmas cards. All levels are welcome.

Short Bio: Sarah is a facilitator from South London, who specialises in teaching lino printing and embroidery. She runs collage clubs in Crystal Palace and Clapham. You can find her craft content on Instagram @snipnstickselondon

PLEASE NOTE this workshop is unsuitable for under 16s.

We use sharp knives and vintage equipment.

Due to the basement location of the Print Room and Bindery, we regret we cannot offer access to wheelchair users.
