2-hour Taster session for 11-14s - Throwing on the Wheel

Learn the basics of throwing on the wheel 

• This 2-hour workshop is for 11-14s who would like to have a first go at throwing on the wheel. 
• This is cross-generational. 11-14s can attend on their own or with an adult parent or carer

Cost

• £50 per person
• Concessions: £25 per person. As with all Bell House Pottery courses two income-based concession places are available, if you would not otherwise be able to attend

• You will try your hand at centering clay on the wheel and throwing a small cylinder.
• At the end of the session, you can pick your favourite pot which will be glazed and fired for you. 
• The cost of all materials and firing are included in your course fee.
• This sessions isintended for 11-14s and their parents/carers where applicable. 
• NB For cross generational events parents/adults come as participants not observers so you need to purchase a ticket for both the adult and 11-14 year old

• Two half price concession tickets are available for each course for those whose financial circumstances mean they would not otherwise be able to attend.

Refunds 

No refunds are available. However if you cannot attend a Taster Class for any reason: 

• if you give us eight- (or more) days’ notice we can either reschedule or send you a code to rebook for a different Taster Class.
• If you give seven days’ notice or less, we cannot reschedule. There are no exceptions to this, so please do not ask or pressurise our staff.
• In the latter scenario where you give seven days’ notice or less that you cannot attend, your booked place remains yours to give to a friend or family member to attend instead of you. In which case please let us know who is coming in your place
