Learn the basics of throwing on the wheel:

  • This 2-hour, half term, workshop is for 11-17s who would like to have a first go at throwing on the wheel.
  • This is cross-generational. 11-17s can attend alone or if you prefer with an accompanying parent/adult

Cost

  • £50 per person
  • £25 concessions (two concessionary tickets are available for all Bell House Pottery courses)

Date: 30 May 2025, 10.00 - 12.00

At the 2 hour session:

  • You will try your hand at centering clay on the wheel and throwing a small cylinder.
  • At the end of the session, you can pick your favourite pot which will be glazed and fired for you.
  • The cost of all materials and firing are included in your course fee.
  • These sessions are intended for 11-17 year olds and their parents/carers where applicable.
  • NB For cross generational events parents/adults come as participants not observers so you need to purchase a ticket for both the adult and the 11-17 year old
