2-hour HAND BUILDING Taster Session (cross-generational)

Learn the basics of hand-building

• This 2-hour workshop is for beginners who would like to have a first go at making a vessel from clay slabs.
• You will roll out slabs of clay and press patterns into the soft clay.
• You will learn how to shape your slabs into a cylinder and add a base to form a vessel.
• We will glaze and fire your finished piece for you.
• The cost of all materials and firing are included in the course fee.
• This session is cross-generational: 11-17 year olds plus a participating adult. NB You will need to purchase two tickets - one for the teen, one for the adult.

Tickets and dates

• Tickets cost £50 per session. £25 concessions.
• Each course is 2 hours long.

• Two half price concession tickets are available for each course for those whose financial circumstances mean they would not otherwise be able to attend..

• This session is cross-generational: 11-17 year olds with a participating adult.

Refunds: 

No refunds are available. However if you cannot attend a Taster Class for any reason: 

• if you give us eight- or more- days’ notice we can either reschedule or send you a code to rebook for a different Taster Class.
• If you give seven days’ notice or less, we cannot reschedule. There are no exceptions to this, so please do not ask or pressurise our staff.
• In the latter scenario where you give seven days’ notice or less that you cannot attend, your booked place remains yours to give to a friend or family member to attend instead of you. In which case please let us know who is coming in your place
