BE Closer Sessions 26-27

BE Closer at Watercress Farm 
A day of nature connection, immersion and inspiration.

Aimed at a smaller group of up to 12 students, identified by you, who would particularly benefit from spending time connecting with nature, once a term. (Limited to 1 group/school )

Please note that as a working farm the site is not universally accessible. 

By visiting six times over the school year, your group will have an immersive experience designed to enhance the students connection to themselves, each other and nature: building confidence, self-esteem and a sense of wellbeing, as a part of nature.

The students have grown in confidence and strengthened their connections with one another and the natural environment. This is particularly pertinent as some of the students have no access or opportunity to access nature and the wild in their everyday lives.'  Ashton Park School

HOW THE SESSIONS RUN

Each session follows the rhythm of the season, wild walks, fire, stream, woodland, with students given the freedom to explore and the space to just be. We get to know your group, and they get to know this place, that familiarity is part of what makes it work.

BE Closer is open to schools, charities and community organisations. Sessions are for groups of up to 12 students, identified by you, as those who would most benefit.

BOOKING

Availability is very limited and places are offered to only a small number of schools each year. Please book all six visits at the point of registration, one per term.

• One visit in Term 5
• One visit in Term 6

If a setting cancels more than once or doesnt book all six visits,their place may be offered to another school.
