This session is open to all and will evolve as the months go by; your feedback is important to us. Would you like a specific game or a knit and natter table? Let either Carrie or Zoe know, and they will see what they can do. We know that many people in our village live alone, and events like this might be one of the only times they see someone to have a good chat, so be open to meeting new people and share a little of your story to build new connections.

This session will be led by Zoe & Carrie Temperton and their group of volunteers – if you are able to help at an upcoming session, we would appreciate it.  You can only help on one session a month, as we want everyone to have an opportunity to also enjoy the session. Volunteering will be a mix of setting up the room / serving lunch / teas and coffees / washing the pots and clearing away at the end of the session.

Lunches will cost from £8

28th August - Jacket Potato & Choice of topping (Curry, Chilli or cheese and beans plus salad buffet)

11th Sept - Pie Van

9th Oct Stew & Crusty Bread

13th Nov Curry or Chilli

18th Dec Christmas Special - £20pp (Entertainment from Mary Kingsnorth)

We will be using outside catering to provide lunches, and they will vary from session to session. Please make us aware of dietary requirements at time of booking.

This session is subsidised by our Cadent Grant. During the session our trained energy specialists will be onsite to talk to you about reducing energy bills. We have available FREE slow cookers, cookbooks, carbon monoxide monitors, and body wipes as part of this grant. Terms & Conditions Apply.

We will offer educational talks from time to time as part of this initiative.
