Building Bridges—A Benefit for Sumatra

Together with our friends in the Netherlands @benefiet_sumatra, we are raising funds to rebuild permanent, sturdy steel bridges to help Aceh province recover from devastating floods.

Artha Rini Indonesian Restaurant will host a liwetan charity dinner and lunch with proceeds going to @ekspedisi.kitabisa , a nonprofit that will help fund and build these bridges.

Menu:

Nasi liwet (rice with herbs)
Ayam bakar (grilled chicken)
Tumis sayur (sautéed kale) 
Tahu goreng (fried tofu) 
Orek tempe (sweet and savory tempeh)
Sayur asem (vegetables in tamarind soup)
Krupuk (tapioca crackers)
Lalapan (vegetable crudités)
Sambal (chili paste)
Ikan asin (salted fish)

Dessert: Cendol (coconut milk and palm sugar drink)

Drinks: DUA DC coffee and Aji Tea jasmine tea (other drinks can be purchased separately)

Every ticket includes the above spread as well as one raffle ticket for prizes including cookbooks, gift vouchers, Indonesian foods and accessories, and more!
