Formed in 2016, Strobe is an award‑winning oboe quartet—oboe, violin, viola, and cello—praised for its “imaginative and diverse approach” (San Francisco Examiner). Dedicated to expanding the chamber repertoire, the group has received prestigious grants from Chamber Music America, the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, InterMusicSF, and the Zellerbach Family Foundation, commissioning six new works and releasing a CD.

Their wide‑ranging performances are distinguished by adventurous programming and compelling artistry.
