Our on-line beer tasting sessions were very popular during lockdown and we've received a number of requests to re-run the sessions.

With that in mind we're hosting our next one on Friday 16th June to celebrate Father’s Day.

As before, we're partnering with our friends at Platform Wines to bring you six beers from our favourite breweries - Cloudwater, Pollys, Verdant etc. We’ll have IPAs, a Trappist beer and maybe a tame sour. Our budding beer sommelier Nigel will take us through the beers, remind us how to taste ales, discuss the beer styles, brewing techniques and more.

We'll also have music from Hamish Currie and Keith Axford, aka The Mad Axe Murderers. They play classic rock on ukulele, defying the impossible and blasting their way through Bad Company, Focus, Bowie and lots more.

The online tasting is free, you just need to buy the beers from Platform Wines. Register for your tickets via the button above and we'll email you the beer purchasing link by return. Your Zoom invitation and food pairing suggestions will follow a little nearer the time. (Cost of the beers is £25 with free local delivery and national delivery at a small additional amount).
