The Future of Digital in 2026: Ads and AI

The digital landscape is changing fast. Come to our next Berlin Campaigners' Meetup on Thursday 22 January at Workish Coworking (Harzer Str. 39, 12059) at 7pm to learn about two big changes affecting the future of campaigning in 2026 - AI and Meta's ad ban. 

Clare O'Donoghue Velikić (Founder and Director, ODV Digital) speaking on "Meta's Ad Ban fallout: What's happened so far and what you can do". In late 2025, Meta and Googled ended political and social advertising in the EU in response to new regulations. Clare, one of Europe's foremost experts on digital advertising for progressives, has been using her unique expertise to help organisations respond. She'll give us an insider view on the current state of play and share up-to-date actionable insights. Clare is a digital consultant and strategist advising non-profits and political parties internationally, and she previously worked at Facebook and Google.

Andrew Hyams (meetup co-organiser, Senior Strategist at GSCC) speaking on "The age of AI Search is here: top tips for non-profits". There's a revolution underway in how people find information online, with AI summaries and chatbots fast supplanting the old search engine model, upending traditional SEO. But there are ways non profits can respond. Andrew will talk about the importance of this new world and share top tips for what orgs should do this year to not be left behind. 

As always, there will be plenty of time for informal networking and mingling. You can purchase drinks at the venue with cash or card.
