Weekend Stay at Frying Pan Shoals Light Tower

 Frying Pan Shoals Light Tower raffle is a part of a fundraiser by BE THE ONE. 100% of all funds raise go directly to this year's charity.

BE THE ONE is a unique charity event designed to bring about suicide awareness and the affect it has on our military, first responders and law enforcement. The BE THE ONE event has two goals. Our first goal is to raise money for 501 C3 charity organizations that provide prevention and public education programs, advocacy and therapeutic support services. Our second goal is to provide a positive event for all who have or are affected by suicide in our community. February 11, 2023, event benefits our local VFW.

Frying Pan Shoals Light Tower is a decommissioned lighthouse located on the Frying Pan Shoals approximately 39 miles southeast of Southport, North Carolina, and 32 miles from Bald Head Island, North Carolina. The tower is currently privately owned and was formerly a bed and breakfast retreat and is noted for its survival through several significant tropical storms. The light tower is modeled after a steel oil drilling platform, known as a "Texas Tower", on top of four steel legs that was engine. (FPTower.org)

"Terms are that it will be a weekend stay for 2 on the tower and that all they need bring is a toothbrush Oh, and a change of clothes but we’ll provide the food, stay, and activities. Please note that depending on weather and the time frame of your visit, will determine if Lucy will be able to provide free Transporation to the Tower.  You may be responsible for your own transportation.
