Sea Change Events

Be the Sea Change CIC exists to be the change we want to see in the swimwear and apparel industry.
Our purpose is to push the boundaries of circularity and build a complete ecosystem for swimwear and the ocean—one where people, planet and product are firmly connected and interdependent.

Product: We research, develop and make recycled and recyclable swimwear and accessories. Our ambition is a future where every swimsuit is fully recyclable and, material by material, where our raw materials no longer rely on virgin petroleum. Our flagship innovation projects develop new ways to collect, recycle and transform retired local fishing nets and other marine waste into valuable new materials for swimwear, creating a net positive impact for both people and the ocean.

Planet: We run conservation projects and beach school activities; from seaweed surveys and coastal art projects, to coastal clean-ups, inspiring communities to care for the marine environment while generating knowledge and positive action for healthier seas.

People: We uplift people by making the sea more accessible through welcoming communities, cold water swimming and nature connection, helping more people discover the confidence, wellbeing and belonging that the coast can offer.

As a Community Interest Company, we are not for profit, and any surplus we make is reinvested into our mission.
