Econidra is a beautiful blend of elements taken from restorative Yoga Nidra combined with Forest Therapy. A practice of slowing down to stillness and silence. More than just relaxation, Eco Nidra leads us into a specific state of internal awareness where a conscious experience of dreamless, deep sleep invites us to become connected with the inner world and disconnected from the outer world.
We will begin our meditative triple journey with a gentle sensory exploration, including your imaginal sense. This is followed by a Pilgrimage through the body, bringing your soft awareness to different areas, and finishing with a nature soundscape journey.
Eco Nidra can support feelings of wellbeing by reducing stress and anxiety, promoting mental, emotional and physical relaxation and improving sleep quality.
You will need a mat to lie on, plus a pillow for comfort and blanket for extra warmth as body temperatures can fall as you become more deeply relaxed. Mats are available, please indicate on the booking form if you would like to borrow one. If you prefer to remain seated you may wish to bring a chairs and a travel pillow to support your head. There may be a couple of hammocks as well but there is no guarantee of availability.

Fire Woven Women's Circle invites you to soften into a space where you can arrive just as you are and deepen into those most simple human needs - to be together, to be heard and to belong. Whether you arrive tired, joyful, angry, a little lost or quite sure that you are in the right place, you will be welcome here. Welcome to share your stories and give voice to the words that help make sense of life. Equally welcome to sit in silence and offer the gift of deep listening to others.
We will begin with an introduction and the lighting of a candle or fire followed by a short meditation inviting you to soften your body and quieten your mind as you move gently into the presence of Circle. Each week will have a different theme as a starting point but you are always welcome to share what is alive in your heart even if it appears to be unrelated.
There is a magic in stepping across the threshold between the Everyday and Circle time. A magic in surrendering to the mystery and un-knowing. A magic that happens when you allow yourself to be seen.
If your heart is full of unspoken words, if you feel the call, the tug deep inside...join me there. There's a place for you around the Fire.
This is a confidential space without judgement, advice or fixing.
Please bring a cup if you wish to share a wild or herbal tea, and if you wish to sit in comfort bring a camping chair, mat or cushion as there are only log stumps to sit on in our woodland site.
Please be aware that although these events are intentionally small and intimate gatherings, a minimum number of bookings is required to go ahead. The session will be postponed to another week if that number isn't reached and you will be offered a transfer or a refund.
