Come and explore the beautiful Shropshire Hills, watch sunrise and finish with a swim in the reservoir. This is suitable for all abilities, whether you are new to hiking or want to dip your toe in with wild swimming or simply want to meet others. 

Hike Details:

Distance: 5 miles / 8km 

Start: 7am

Duration: 4-5 hours (approx)

Terrain: This is a mix of terrain with uneven paths and some grass

About your guide: 

Hi, I'm Emily and I'm a qualified and insured Mountain Leader (SML), Level 3 Outdoors First Aid certified, RLIS Open Water Lifeguard and NOWCA Cold Water swim qualified.

If you know me, you will know I am hugely passionate about the outdoors and cold water swimming, and bringing the two together seemed the best thing for me to combine and celebrate the shortest day of the year! 

I am hugely passionate about bringing women together in a safe space in the outdoors. I know first hand what it can feel like to be overwhelmed by huge groups of new people, that's why my aim is to keep these groups small, so you can take the time to get to chat and meet likeminded women.

There are public toilets available. 

Parking:

You will need to pay for parking, unless you are a National Trust Member. I believe this is £4-6 per day
