Description
We are delighted to invite anyone who is in need of wellbeing to these special community sessions completely FREE of charge.
In the class, we will be exploring the basic postures, breathing techniques, and relaxation methods that are fundamental to a yoga practice. We will begin with a few minutes of centering and breathing exercises, allowing you to connect with your body and focus your mind. From there, we will move into gentle warm-up postures designed to awaken the body. Throughout the class, we will focus on alignment, encouraging you to move mindfully and with awareness of your body's needs. We will explore a variety of standing, seated, and reclining postures, all of which can be modified to suit your individual needs and abilities.
In addition to the physical practice, we will also incorporate pranayama, or yogic breathing techniques, which can help to calm the mind and reduce stress. And at the end of class, we will spend a few minutes in a guided relaxation, allowing you to release tension and find a sense of peace and calm. This class is open to people of all levels, and no prior yoga experience is necessary.
Whether you are looking to increase flexibility, reduce stress, or simply try something new, we invite you to join us and discover the many benefits of a regular yoga practice. The classes are taught by experienced yoga teacher Laura MacDonald.
Spaces are limited and booking is essential.
