Access & Rights of Way training and events

We’re British Horse Society, or BHS. As the UK’s largest equestrian charity, we’re here to help horses and everyone who cares for them enjoy the best possible life together. That means championing safety on and off road. Improving welfare. Supporting education. Our Access & Rights of Way short courses are a great way of learning about the rights and responsibilities around the bridleways, byways and other access which enable you to ride or drive a horse off-road. They are designed for our volunteer Access and Bridleway Officers who are crucial in helping to defend use of public rights of way (learn more about volunteering) but are open to all.

Other educational and fundraising events are also provided throughout the year.
