Stage 2 Coach Part Time Course

The course will comprise of four in person training days looking at the practical teaching sections within the assessment and also two online sessions covering the theory sections and lesson planning. The course also includes a training handbook for you to complete in your own time. There is an element of self-study and practice between sessions required to complete the assessment.

For those ready to sit the assessment at the end of the course there will be an assessment day following the training to be booked and paid for separately. Assessment bookings can be made after the first two practical days depending on guidance from the course leader. The ability to sit the assessment will depend on the level of knowledge and experience prior to the course. If you are not able to sit the assessment at the end you will be given guidance on further training to sit the assessment in the future.

This tailored course is designed to support your progression to Stage 2 Coach and offers a flexible structure for busy schedules while maintaining high-quality, practical training.

The practical days for this course will be run at Wellington Riding in Hampshire 

Online 1: 15 September at 7pm

Practical days 1 & 2: 22 & 23 September

Online 2: 20 October at 7pm

Practical days 3 & 4: 3 & 4 November

Optional assessment day: 8 December

Cost £550, or £400 for staff at BHS Approved Centres
