The British Horse Society Ireland is delighted to be able to offer an online

The Fundamentals of ADHD training course.
(ADHD stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a condition that can affect behaviour it affects the ability to regulate attention and impulsivity.

This course will provide valuable information to enhance communication and coaching skills.

It will count as 2 CPD points for BHS Accredited Professional Coaches.

This online course will be delivered by Colin Foley, National Director of Training, ADHD Foundation.

The Date: Monday 7 February 2022

The Time:- 7pm to 9pm

The Cost:- £10 per person

The link to join this workshop will be emailed to you following booking completion.

If you are unable to attend on the night there is the option to booked a recording ticket. You will receive an email with a link to the recording a couple of days after the event from Susan Spratt. The recording will be available to you to watch for 7 days.

About the Training Course

Fundamentals of ADHD Training Course

Course Aim: Understand the main features associated with ADHD and how this may impact on an ADHD individual. The course will also explore various strategies to support individuals within your role.

Course objectives:

  • Introduction to and main features associated with ADHD.
  • Understanding of communication issues.
  • Understanding of the impact of ADHD and the difficulties encountered.
  • To identify and be aware of various strategies that can be used within the learning environment.
