Body and Mind Connection
The importance of a holistic & complementary approach to the health & wellbeing of our horses, ourselves & in developing our relationship with them.
This is a workshop day delivered by Emma Tyson. Emma is an experienced, qualified & insured Complementary Medicine Practitioner. She is also a Health & Lifestyle Coach and Consultant for Horses & their Owners
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
Understand the concept & science, importance & benefits of Holistic & Complementary Medicine & its relevance for our own & our horses physical & mental health.
Understand the importance & benefits of a holistic, systematic according to individual need, multi-modality approach for the most effective & timely prevention & increased performance, recovery & rehabilitation from health issues.
Understand & have experienced the direct connection between the body & the mind for both humans & horses & how this effects health, performance & rehabilitation
Understand how our awareness & mental & emotional state effects our horses & our relationship with them.
Experience simple practices & tools to understand & experience the benefits of Self Care for ourselves & our horses
The day will consist of both theory and practical activities. A great opportunity to take time to consider and learn the important connection between our own body & mind and our horse’s body and its mind, and how this can profoundly affect health, performance & rehabilitation. Above all, the day is designed to help you improve your awareness and learn new techniques to enable you to develop a greater connection and partnership with your horse.
You do not need to bring a horse. You will be working with the horses stabled at the venue who are comfortable in their home environment.
