BHS Stages 3 & 4 Coaching Training

Sarah Spencer-Williams FBHS and Fred Hodges BHSI.

The day will be an opportunity to gain insight into all aspects of these assessments, with Sarah and Fred who are both highly experienced coaches and assessors. All sections of the assessment will be observed and discussed, with support and constructive feedback for those who would like to coach on the day.

All the practical teaching sessions of the Stage 3 and Stage 4 Coaching assessment will be covered. This will include group and private dressage lessons at Novice and Elementary level, group jump lessons, lunge lessons and simulated cross country.

The training is suitable for anyone preparing for the assessments or helping others, as a refresher for coaching skills or to just find out more about BHS coaching qualifications. There will be the opportunity to coach a session and, if at the appropriate level, be signed off for that section, or just observe and get an insight into what is involved at the different levels level.

The training will have 6 CPD points (subject to confirmation)
