'The Horse - A View From The Past' - An Evening Talk By Lara Haggerty

Lara Haggerty, Keeper of Books at Scotland’s first lending library, will share some quotes, pictures and stories about the horse from a selection of books in the Innerpeffray collection. Learn about ‘leachcraft and chirugical’ in a 16^th century medical book for horses, myths and legends and some ‘rules for bad horsemen’ as published in the 18^th century.

Cost: £5.  Proceeds will be split 50/50 between British Horse Society and Innerpeffray Library.

Open to all.

This talk will be recorded and the link to the recording will be sent to all. If you cannot join the event live on the evening, please only purchase a 'recording' ticket.
