XC Course Walk at Scone Palace International Horse Trials with Nick Gauntlett FBHS (CPD)

Join us as Scone Palace puts on their second International Horse Trials in the year that BHS is the Charity Partner to walk the XC course with one of our Fellows of British Horse Society - Nick Gauntlett FBHS. We are delighted to have Nick returning to Scotland.

Nick Gauntlett FBHS: Nick's a Fellow of the British Horse Society and a British Eventing Master Coach. He has an Armada dish for 5 clears round Badminton on 5 different horses.
Nick and his wife Amanda now run a small stud from their Gloucestershire base and run the Party Horses Club. Alongside this Nick splits his time between coaching, riding and supporting his children with their Pony Club activities.

The walk covers the entire course and lasts approximately an hour and a half. Led by Nick Gauntlett FBHS, we will stop at each fence along the way to explain how riders will plan to ride it, offering insight into the strategies involved and the potential difficulties competitors might face.  The discussion includes detailed analysis of approach angles, pace, terrain, and how horses are likely to react to particular obstacles. Nick will answer questions from the attendees, making the experience both educational and interactive.

Tickets for this special event are limited. Please note that you need to have your own ticket to the event that day.

This has been approved as 2 CPD points for BHS Accredited Professional Coaches.

Cost: £25 for BHS Accredited Professional Coaches. Others: £30.
