BHS Scotland Festive Ride at Dumfries House Estate, Ayrshire

Sunday 6 December 2026, 10am-12 noon

Join BHS Scotland through the estate surrounding Dumfries House, Ayrshire.

One group ride at 10am with 25 riders maximum.

The ride is guided by Denise Richardson-Rowell, Education Farm Manager.

This ride will last approximately one hour and will take in the beautiful grounds of Dumfries House Estate including riding past the Main House, Arboretum, Adams Bridge, Duchess of Rothesay Avenue – it is mostly walk and trot along the paths.

Cost £30 – split between The Kings Foundation and British Horse Society.

Booking fees are now incorporated into all ticket prices.

Tea/coffee and mince pies will be supplied after the ride.

There will be a prize for the most festive horse and rider.

Please do not access Dumfries House by the main visitor entrance – full details will be sent out by email on the Thursday prior to the event.
