A chance for all equestrians and other vulnerable road users to hear and speak to the British Horse Society’s Director of Safety, Alan Hiscox about the Dead Slow campaign. Vulnerable road users face unique issues on the road and are most at risk when involved in a collision. The 2022 Highway Code changes advised drivers how to pass horses safely yet only a small number of drivers are aware of these changes. Why is this? The BHS are hoping West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire Police will be there and able to answer questions from equestrians about issues that affect them.
