Thank you for considering coming along to one of my 'Aiming for A*' sessions - I ran similar sessions for the last few years, and they were a great success! See the bottom of this description for some comments from previous attendees. Please read through the information below carefully.

Important Information:

• Each session is approximately 3 hours: 2 hours 30 mins of teaching, plus an additional 30 minutes to account for a break and Q&A session at the end
• If attending live, there are plenty of opportunities to interact and ask questions
• In addition, there are extra questions provided for you to complete after the session, with accompanying video solutions (~1 hour of extra video content)
• The sessions are held on Zoom - the link will be shared via email a few days before the event
• Slides will be shared in advance should you want to try some of the questions before hand - but this is not required
• The session is recorded and will be shared as soon as it has finished
• The annotated slides will also be shared immediately after the session

FAQs

• Which exam board is this for?
  • I primarily use questions from Edexcel, but the content is appropriate for all A-Level Maths exam boards for the UK specification
• I haven't finished studying Integration (or another topic) yet - should I attend?
  • There will be content from across the course, so you may not understand all parts - however, as the session is recorded, you can return to it another time as part of your revision. You will continue to have access to the recording right up until the exams for exam preparation
• I receive FSM/a bursary - is there a discount available?
  • Yes! Please email bicen@bicenmaths.uk with proof of your FSM/bursary status (your name must be shown as part of the evidence) - I will then generate a unique discount code for you to use
• I am really struggling with maths right now - is this for me?
  • Yes, and no. The session is designed for students who have learned the content, but want to fully master their skills. The session moves fast, as I want to cover as much as possible to make it worthwhile - remember you can rewatch the recording when you are feeling more confident with the topic!
