BigJalebi, established in September 2020, emerged from a heartfelt commitment to aid women widowed by COVID-19, where the loss of the primary breadwinner plunged families into emotional and financial turmoil. Co-founders Ritu Jalan and Sumeet Jalan envisioned more than just offering immediate relief; they aimed to empower these families with sustainable skills.

In 2023, BigJalebi orchestrated a successful Diwali fundraising event, benefiting two charities. Now, under the banner of the BigJalebi Mission, we aspire to broaden our impact by fostering a versatile approach to fundraising. Rather than earmarking funds for specific purposes, we seek to address diverse needs—be it education, healthcare, or supporting other charitable endeavors—flexibly, on a case-by-case basis.

Our goal is to create an adaptable environment that prioritizes aiding those most in need, ensuring every contribution makes a meaningful difference.
